![]() Suspiciously, these newspaper clippings are collected, studied, and posted on a wall by an unseen figure. Thankfully, the grandson is rescued from the fire, and grows up into our hero, CHA DO-HYUN. First, the chairman and his daughter-in-law are killed in car crash, and then his son, marked to take over, is killed in a suspicious house fire. Our story opens with a stylized flashback sequence and newspaper clippings that give us the basic outline of the chaebol family running Seungjin Group, and its string of tragedies. So break out the guyliner and get ready for a good time! And while I feel for our bewildered hero, I can’t wait to see what his bad-guy alter ego will get up to next. So far the show seems to be striking a good balance between the real psychological trauma our hero suffers and the comedic screw-ups and hilarious misunderstandings that ensue. The first episode began a little rocky but found its stride, managing a credible introduction to our characters, their relationships and the world they inhabit. Hello again drama fans! This is purplecow, back after a long recapping hiatus. But tonight I just finished watching “The Rooftop Prince” so this will be my first review.155 JanuJanuKill Me, Heal Me: Episode 1 by purplecow I have seen so many it’s was hard to pick the first one. I hope I can do this without not giving to much away. I will say, once you start, you will enjoy these shows as much as I have. I feel alone tho, cause no one else will take interest, I guess it’s because you have to read and watch. I have not laughed and cried spontaneously in years, and I was in shock when I did for the first time, I laughed till I cried!, I can’t stop watching these shows now. Some are just plain stupid, or have gone on and on and on and on…dear god and on……. I have pretty much lost all interest in the shows they put on TV here. This programing is some of the best I have seen in 20 years here in the states. Some more some less, but still there is an ending and they don’t go on for years and years. I have started off with Animes, and got hooked real fast!!! Then I saw they had other shows, real life dramas that have a beginning and an end. I must have been a stubborn mule! Why did I wait so long to watch and READ Animes and Dramas?!!!! I guess I was afraid of missing something happening while reading the sub text, but, that never happened. I am giving this show 10 ponys which is the highest rating from me!!! Why did it take me so long…… Things get serious as the story moves along and they figure out how all this ties in with the past. Things start out very funny at times when they try to find out just what happened and where they are and why. Things change very quickly during his investigation and he is taken into the future with his investigators. Rooftop Prince starts out in the Joseon time, Where things seem to be very happy for the prince. Not like the states, were they keep them going for years and years. These Dramas only last so long, then they have an ending. Shows like this are very entertaining!! It reminds me of how tv shows were in the late 60’s early 70’s. ![]() it takes a lot to get my attention and keep it. ![]() Like most KDramas, Rooftop Prince was very good and enjoyable! The storyline was very interesting, for it to keep me glued to the tube and wanting to find out more, is very good.
